Ageless Style Link-up: Sporty

So this month’s theme was to style a sporty look, either for participating in or spectating a sport. And although I was never into sports myself, my daughter is a competitive gymnast and we have been to all the practices, clinics, and meets!

I love to dress comfortably and in layers so I can shed or add a layer as the air conditioning permits. THANK GOD gymnastics is an indoor sport! I don’t do bugs and heat!

Sweatshirt // Skirt: option PLUS // Sneakers //Bag: option

For this look, I chose a stretch denim skirt, which is actually step hem, so it’s longer in back. (Bleachers approved!)

Comfortable sneakers are a must, as well as wearing team colors! I love this understated purple sweatshirt for that reason! And this tote carries everything but the kitchen sink on meet days!

And, if the venue happens to be extra warm, a crop tee sure fits the bill. This one is from my local Neighborhood Barre studio. But I’ve linked some great cropped tee options below!

Didn’t realize until yesterday that I hadn’t left comments on everyone’s posts. I am totally losing it. Truly. I saw everyone’s great looks on IG and then poof…forgot to come by to comment. I am so sorry.

First of all, I loved the green sweatshirt top and green skirt you had on today on IG…shopping the sales. Absolutely adorable. Great accessories, too. I love the bag and shoes you put with that outfit. A+, mama!!

And these sporty looks are so fun. I like your denim skirt so much more than the ones I have. I put mine on and they just don’t fit right any more. Not sure why. Love the raw hem. Those precious tops. So comfy and so put together, too!!

How smart to have a longer hem in back for that skirt Jamie. I was a gymnast growing up, so my mom can definitely feel your pain, LOL!!!
