365 Day Happiness Challenge: Volunteer for a Cause You Care About

Hey there! I’ve been doing a different kind of New Year’s Resolution this year. This one focuses on little things you can do to create happiness around you. I love this challenge! It’s been a lot of fun taking snippets of time out for myself even though we are crazy busy. Sometimes you know you need to make time for yourself, but it’s been so long you don’t know where to start. That’s where this challenge comes in. 365 Day Happiness Challenge by PopSugar

One of the prompts was to volunteer for a cause you care about. The great part about this being part of a happiness challenge is that people don’t realize that helping others does a lot for one’s own personal happiness.

For this challenge, we went to a local food bank that repackages food for school programs. We repackaged cereal for a local breakfast program. So important! We joined in with another group and all the kids worked together so well! I was one proud mama!

It really was a great time!

What little things do you do for yourself? Sometimes, It’s just taking a bath, reading a magazine or picking up a cheat treat for yourself while grocery shopping with the kids. Make sure you’re taking care of yourself, too!
