Last night the family ran down to the beach as soon as we got here. We played in the water, gathered shells, and watched the sun set over the ocean.
I mean, can you believe this view??
And it’s amazing the things you take for granted having grown up on the coast that my kids have NEVER experienced.
“Mom! The water really IS salty!”
“This sand is so soft!”
“Look! I buried my brother!”
Haha! Now, we’ve been to the beach before, but the kids were much younger and we never went in the summer so they couldn’t do much more than splash their feet in it.
This time, we went full on swimming and had so much fun, we didn’t notice that two hours had passed!
And we can’t wait to go back out for more!!
