Hello! Welcome to another Sentence a Day! My friends and I have all gathered together to document our lives once sentence at a time. If you care to join us, start writing those sentences! Just one sentence summarizing your day and you can link up with us next month!
March was a hard one for me with many battles I had to fight, so this month’s Sentence a Day will be quite short. The good news is that I feel like I’m finally winning those battles and, it being spring, the sun is literally shining again! So, without further comment, here is how my March went; one sentence at a time…
I started an 800 page biography on Paul McCartney today! It’s been a while since I’ve read a really good book! And this one seems like it won’t disappoint!
My daughter hurt her arm at gymnastics and had an Ortho appointment today. X-rays are showing nothing so we are waiting…
Today marks one month that I’ve been on my new medication but I can tell I have a long way to go yet. I hope it kicks in soon.
My daughter had an MRI on her arm today and we will find out the results at the end of the week.
The results are in! There is no damage to her arm! Now she needs to work on stretching it out and gaining mobility again. She protected it so much, that it’s really stiff.
Saint Patrick’s Day with the family!
Today we put flowers in our front yard. It was great to be outside in the warm weather!
Turns out, my daughter’s ortho is in my 6am Barre class! She offered to examine her for free to see if she can compete this weekend at the State Championships…AND SHE CAN! My daughter is SO EXCITED!
State Championships! She qualified for Regionals! We are so stinking proud of her for recovering so quickly and doing so well!
Today my oldest turns 16! I can’t believe how time flies! We held an all day open house LAN party and all his friends came and played computer games a-l-l–d-a-y–l-o-n-g! He had a really great day!
I FINISHED the Paul McCartney Biography! It was SO GOOD! Today I picked up the John Lennon biography by the same author! I can’t wait to dig in!
Had a good day today–took the kids back to Homeschool Gym and my daughter had a private lesson to work on her vault. I hit Starbucks after, and we had a family walk that night.
My band, The Classic Q Band, played a local coffee house tonight! I conquered my anxiety for the night and had a great time! You can hit our Facebook page to see some videos of the performance!
My oldest just got his FIRST REAL JOB! He’s going to be a lifeguard all summer. I’m so proud of him; he went to the interview all by himself! Why do they have to grow up so fast?
The last day of March! Today was an excellent day. I’ve felt more like myself than I have in a very long time. We took the kids to iHop to celebrate my oldest getting a job, took the kids to walmart for shoes, hit Starbucks for me, 5 Below to get phone cases for my girls, and then did a full grocery trip at Aldi!
Well that’s all I’ve got for March! Check out my other bloggy friends below and be sure to join us next month!
