GYPO Spring 2018 Capsule Wardrobe: Week One

So, I just finished my first Get Your Pretty On Capsule Wardrobe challenge! It was such a blast getting to know the ladies and putting the outfits together in new ways. I wore a few things in ways I never do and I loved the way everything turned out!

Firstly, if you’ve never heard of Get Your Pretty On, head on over to her website and have a look around. She puts on capsule wardrobe challenges every season and they are totally worth it! It took me a couple years to get the nerve up to try it, but I’m so glad I did!

And now for the outfits!

Day 1: Graphic Tee+ Colored Jeans+ Jean Jacket+ Leopard Flats

Day 2: Striped Tee+ Boyfriend Jeans+ Colored Flats+ Neck Scarf

Day 3: White Tee+ Jean Jacket+ Olive Jeans+ Neck Scarf

Day 4: Floral Top+ White Jeans+ Jean Jacket+ Taupe Booties (Substituted the Blush Cardigan)

Day 5: Striped Dress+ Jean Jacket+ Metallic Sneakers

I only missed two days during the first week, which is great for me since I have sucky follow-through. ha! Seriously though, the pieces and the outfits practically put themselves together. Alison is really great at picking them and creating a cohesive capsule wardrobe where everything works together. And, knowing what I was going to wear ahead of time, really cut down on the time it took to get ready each morning! If you ever get a chance to do one of her style challenges, I highly recommend it!
