As the weather keeps bouncing from winter to spring and back again, I’m left wondering…WHAT THE HECK am I going to wear?! The following is a bit of fashion schizophrenia as seen on my Instagram lately.
1. Time to Bring Out the Florals!
So the sun is out, though it’s still a bit chilly. A cute tank and cardigan was just perfect. These jeans are tulip hemmed. I love them, but I wish they came in petite length! I may be trying to alter these for when spring actually arrives.
Floral Tank: Walmart $6.44! // Tulip-hem Jeans: Loft // Gold Flats: Walmart 5$! // Cardigan: Old Navy (Similar) //Necklace: Kendra Scott
2. Easy Does It!
On Tuesdays I work with preschoolers at co-op. So, anything I wear needs to be kid-friendly, paint-friendly, and playground-friendly! This faux-layered top was perfect and kept me warm on a bright day with a cool breeze.
Top: Thrifted (Similar)
3. Is Spring Really here? Yes/No/Yes/No?
This dress is so fun! I never used to wear a lot of pink, but I saw this dress at Old Navy a couple years ago…(last spring, maybe?) and decided to try it. I topped it with a cardigan and rubber boots because a cold rain had just descended.
Dress: Old Navy (Similar)// Cardigan: Old Navy (Similar)//Hunter Boots (Similar)
4. Flat-lay Vs. Real Life
This outfit began as a flat-lay and I loved the patterns together. But you never know how something will look ON until you wear it. I think it works!
Floral Top: Thrifted (A Super Cute Option)// Vest: J.Crew (Similar)// Joggers: Loft (Similar)// Mules: Target // Earrings: Baublebar (Similar)
4. A Day at Home and I Don’t Feel Like Wearing Pants
Do you ever have days like that? I just felt like I didn’t want to wear pants. But maxi-skirts are practically like pajamas, am I right? This sweatshirt also has some cool distressing and has ties on the side. So I didn’t really feel frumpy.
Skirt: Old Walmart (Similar)// Converse: Nordstrom Rack (Similar)// Sweatshirt: Nordstrom (Similar)
5. #BandTeeSaturday and Coffee Always Comes First
Hubs got me this tee a couple years ago and it’s so true. I don’t function without coffee. I love the monochromatic feel of this outfit, too. It made getting dressed super easy.
Tee: Boutique (Similar)// Jeggings: Walmart 12$// Vest: Thrifted (Similar)// Converse: Nordstrom Rack (Similar)
Did you like these outfits? The weather is still acting super crazy. It was nice and sunny two days ago, then it dipped down to freezing, and today it’s rainy. Gotta love it!
If you are inspired to re-create any of these outfits, message me and I will feature you here on the blog! I’d love to see how you made an outfit your own!
