Tarte Review: Magic Star Palette

My husband bought me this palette for Christmas and now I’m so bummed because I can’t find it ANYWHERE! So I’m not going to go too far into detail on the specs because how unfair is that??! As a blog reader, I hate to read about stuff I can’t even get.

But what I’m going to focus on is Tarte products in general. Tarte was the second non-drug store brand I tried and I’ve been super impressed by their eyeshadows! Their palettes seem super blendable and they usually include colors I can use every day and colors I can use to add a pop when I want to!

Just look at how rich these colors look!

I love that the palettes include matte and shimmers and they all seem to go together which is pretty cool for a newbie like me.

I used to know a little about makeup but self-care got put on the back burner once I got married and started having kids. NOT complaining AT ALL! I’m just saying that’s why I’m just now jumping on the makeup bandwagon. But for me, this was a good brand to try because the colors go together and blend together well which makes makeup-ing again less intimidating!

What do you think? Do you like this makeup look? I also have the Tartelette in Bloom and will do a separate review on that one. But I do have a review of the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Vol. 2 palette!

What other brands have you used that you love? I’m a makeup junkie, so I’d love to hear about it!
