Fenty Beauty by Rihanna: Review

Have you heard about Rihanna’s new makeup line? I’d heard about it but never gave it a second thought until I was innocently browsing Sephora one day and saw the eyeshadow palette! WOWZA! I bought the Galaxy eyeshadow palette (59!) and the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer (18$!)

I’m a sucker for glitters. I’m not sure why except they just seem super fun and I like my eyes to stand out for special occasions. Besides, doing your makeup should be fun!

The colors are super pigmented and, though there was fall out because it’s glitter, there really wasn’t that much. For my first try, I used Ultraviolet, Meteor Crush, and Space Owt.

I also wore this eyeshadow palette for my daughter’s Wonder Woman birthday party; this time using the blues. (Oh-Zone, Cosmic Ocean, and Midnight Bolt)

The Gloss Bomb really is a universal color. It was a wonderful shimmer neutral that went with whatever I was wearing.

I loved these so much, I can’t wait to try something else from her makeup line. How about you?

  1. I had ‘get a makeup makeover’ on my autumn bucket list so had that done at Sephora at JCP. Spent waaaaaay too much money but did get some good new products, one being a Fenty powder to set my makeup. Now to take the time to apply all of this stuff!!

The eye shadows are lovely. I am a glitter girl, too, although I have read that at my age it isn’t suggested. Love the lip color. Corals and peaches and bronzes are my favs.
