So, I’ve been wearing a lot of “momiform” outfits lately (mom+uniform=momiform) and I’m totally okay with that because at least I’ve pulled myself out of my pajama and sweats routine. Momiforms usually feature super easy going pieces so we can get the job done, but still feel sorta cute.
Here are the five pieces I’ve been wearing on repeat and have become absolute essentials in my wardrobe:
- Boyfriend Jeans
The reason I love these so much is because they are a little more forgiving than skinny jeans and sometimes you just need a little extra room, know what I’m saying? (Halloween candy, I’m looking at you!) These can be dressed up or down and they are CRAZY comfortable. Seriously, get yourself a pair. These ones are Simply Vera by Vera Wang which I thrifted from schoola.com. (Read all about Schoola HERE) Old Navy currently has some HERE and Target has some HERE.
2. Low-heeled booties (photo above!)
These are sooooo comfy and they go with everything. Wearing them makes it look like I tried and they are right on trend. These exact ones are from Target. Here are some ways people have been wearing them:

3. Chambray Popover
Any chambray button up will do, but I prefer the popover (buttons only go half way down) because then I don’t have to worry about buttons gaping and wearing a tank underneath. This one was from Target but I’m not seeing it on their website anymore. So check your clearance rack, ladies! Target currently has THIS and THIS
4. Open-Front Sweater or Cardigan
As I’m writing this, it’s hecka stormy outside. I love to have sweaters like this around to put over whatever I’m wearing when I get cold. Getting one in a neutral color ensures it will go with anything. This one is from Loft (I got it on sale!). I like this one in particular because the 3/4 length sleeves don’t get in the way of doing mom stuff.
5. Utility Jacket
Adding a little military or masculine flair is kind of a big deal right now. This one is Merona(at Target, which they are phasing out! Did you know that?) but I thrifted it through Poshmark. But just about every store has a version of this right now like THIS one from Target and THIS one from H&M.
Do you agree with my list? Let me know what’s absolutely essential in your wardrobe!
