I had to stop writing my list because I was making myself hungry! Ha!
I have to admit that we’ve had quite the slow start to our bucket list! Life happens like that, doesn’t it? We can make all the plans we want, and then you turn around and it all happens a different way. But mostly, it’s just not feeling like fall here yet so I can’t get my mind in the game. The leaves are just now beginning to turn at my house, and forget finding acorns and pinecones. BUT!
We did get to decorating the house for Halloween! (Still no scarecrow…trying to decide how since I just remembered I’m allergic to hay! Oops!)
My oldest is now old enough to take charge of the decorating, so this year was mostly his and his brother’s doing!
I think they did a great job, don’t you?
While they were doing the outside, the girls and I were going through the fall bins and decorating our baker’s rack in the livingroom.
Our house feels so festive now! Hopefully now, I can get to checking off more from my list!

Wow. I love all your Halloween decorations! My kids are still too little to care much about decorating (4 & 1), but I assume in the next few years we will be able to decorate a bit more. My husband will be happy to hear this.
I also love that you have rake the leaves on your list too. We actually raked our leaves into piles and jumped into them today! Figured if we didn’t do it now, we wouldn’t get to it.

Looks like you’ll have a very fun Halloween, Jamie. It’s great that you make cooking and baking a family activity. Enjoy the season!

Your house looks darling and Halloween ready! I agree that life happens and sometimes the best thing is to just go with the flow and enjoy it. Happy Fall to you!

So nice to get the kids involved in the decorating! And hopefully the putting away after! Your ghosts are so cute around your pie rack and the fellas did a great job outside.
Your bucket list made me hungry, too. Can’t wait to read about all the food involved. I am super hungry right now and a choco chip-pumpkin muffin would be fab right about now.
Life does get in the way of living sometimes. But we adjust and go forward. I am glad to be home from our trips and hope to stay put for awhile so I can work on my bucket list!

‘Life Happens’ . . . yes, that should be a license plate holder for many of us!
Love the festive decorations on your bakers rack. Children, and the child in all of us, really love seeing these type of displays I think. And kudos for having children big enough to lend a hand with the decorating!
So, I have to tell you that after seeing your initial list I found myself placing a box of Trader Joe’s pumpkin muffin mix into my basket a few weeks ago. I already have a bag of chocolate chips in my freezer, so you know where this is going!
